Job Description

Discovery are here to make a positive difference to people with learning disabilities and/or autism in Somerset. We are now recruiting for a full time Service Administrator based in our Yeovil, Chard and Taunton sites.

The Job Role

- To establish and maintain all appropriate records and filing systems on behalf of identified Locality Managers and the group of services they manage
- To act as a point of co-ordinating the administration of different service priorities for services in the identified service group
- To provide administrative assistance to the Locality Managers in carrying out his/her operational responsibilities and functions
- To have delegated responsibility for the administration of the Dimensions Time Management System (DTMS) and liaise with payroll etc. to resolve any outstanding issues
- To assist in co-ordinating diaries and appointments for the people we support
- To assist in the planning and administrative systems to meet the services regulatory requirements
- To ensure the maintenance and enhancement of Dimensions standard office filing systems
- To monitor data directly related to service compliance, prepare services for audit and support Locality Managers to address areas of non-compliance.
- To provide administrative assistance to the Locality Managers requirements for recruitment in liaison with the central recruitment function.
- To undertake typing of letters, and other documents for the Locality Managers in the service group including documents relating to people we support
- To take and distribute the minutes of meetings as required

You may be required to provide administrative and secretarial support to other services in the region during holidays or emergencies. This could include working from another office for the period of cover
