We offer a personalised, supportive and subject-focused teacher training course. Our School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme will make you a specialist in your chosen subject and a confident teacher. As part of our unique approach to training, you will be teamed up with a mentor who is an expert in your subject. We focus on preparing you for your first day in the classroom and a fulfilling career in teaching.Your training takes place at our centre in Norwich, Norfolk. And our school placements are available across Norfolk and in some parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. By choosing to train with us, you will have the chance to make a difference in the classroom from the very start.
With our teaching training programme you could get a scholarship or bursary of up to £28,000 to fund your studies as well as the chance to train and teach in Norfolk, one of the UK's most attractive places to live.
Teaching is a brilliantly rewarding career: that 'lightbulb moment' when a pupil gets it is priceless.
When you complete the course you will receive Qualified Teacher Status, a PGCE and a thirst for sharing knowledge. You will also have access to a range of professional development courses through the National Teaching School.
