About Us
We are an independent, not-for-profit fostering agency with a family feel in Scotland. Focusing on creating high-quality foster homes for children and young people, Fostering Relations empowers foster carers to meet the specific needs of those in their care. We provide stable and supported placements for children and young people who have experienced many challenges in their young lives and through our committed approach, we aim to provide the best service to our carers through support and training.
What it’s like to work for us?
We expect our Foster Carers to be confident, compassionate and empathetic with the time and energy to invest in a child or young person:
• You should have the ability to work alongside others as part of a team as you will be required to liaise with professionals as well as families of the children.
• You should be committed to helping guide the child to reach their full potential.
• You will need a spare room.
• You don't need any formal qualifications to apply, however you will be expected to undertake training to develop and enhance your skills.
• Experience bringing up your own children or working in a child-centred environment would be advantageous but not essential.
• You will receive a high level of support, company benefits, access to our company caravan at a reduced rate and a competitive salary.
