About Us

Established in 2005 by Ken York and Jay Morrish, with over 60 years of security industry experience between them, Security Management provide a wide range of security services, advice and consultancy. Our approach is simple: OPENNESS, HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY in everything we do. These are our key values that drive us forward as we aim always to deliver exceptional customer service.

What it’s like to work for us?

Every day is different, you could be on duty at a COVID test site one day, then working at a pirate festival the next, escorting a contractor onto a site or responding to an alarm call, life at SMSW is very varied across 24 hours of each and every day of the week. Whatever you are doing you are always supported by the management team, our 24 hour control room and mobile response officers so you are never on your own. All staff have full access to our in house training department so any training that is required is taken care of, as well as regular and ongoing staff development programmes and awards. We are growing and we want our staff to grow with us.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

We are a security company but do not work at pubs or nightclubs, all of our work is customer facing at offices, local authority buildings, factories, building sites and everywhere else you can think of. Our operation is 24/7, so there will be a mixture of shifts including days, nights and weekends so flexibility is key, along with reliability, punctuality, resilience and of course common sense.
