Southampton, on the south coast of England, is the largest city in the ceremonial county of Hampshire. It is 75 miles (121 km) south-west of London and 19 miles (31 km) north-west of Portsmouth. Southampton is a major port and the closest city to the New Forest. It lies at the northernmost point of Southampton Water at the confluence of the Rivers Test and Itchen, with the River Hamble joining to the south of the urban area. The city, which is a unitary authority, has an estimated population of 253,651. The city's name is sometimes abbreviated in writing to "So'ton" or "Soton", and a resident of Southampton is called a Sotonian.
Solent Conference Centre is proud to sit within Southampton Solent University’s new £30 million building, the Spark. Our leafy city centre location overlooks Southampton’s East Park and benefits from excellent links with motorways, buses, taxis, trains and two local airports.
Jobseekers that we attract can include anyone from school leavers, graduates, people who have been made redundant and those who are just generally unemployed and looking to get back into work. They will be from the ages of 16-65.
Size of Stand
The stand itself is 2m x 1m and there is plenty of room behind and to the sides to put any pop-up banners you may want to use, power will be provided on the day, and there's plenty of space in front of the stand to talk too all the candidates on the day.
Number of staff needed
You can bring as many staff members as you want to man your stand in Oxford. The majority of companies in the past have brought 2-3 people.
