Candidate FAQs

What is a Jobs Fair?

A job fair is an event where employers and job seekers meet face-to-face to discuss job opportunities. Companies attend job fairs to promote their vacancies, meet potential candidates, and answer questions about working for their business. For candidates, it's a great opportunity to explore available roles, make a great first impression, learn about different employers, and potentially secure interviews or job offers in-person.

How do Job Fairs work?

Job fairs bring together multiple employers and job seekers in one location on one day. Candidates can visit employer stands, learn about available vacancies, ask questions, and speak directly with employers. Many companies accept CVs on the day, promote current opportunities, and may even arrange interviews for suitable candidates. Our Job Fairs are free entry and provide a valuable opportunity to make personal connections that can help you stand out from online applications.

Will I get an interview on the spot?

Some companies may offer interviews on the day if they are actively recruiting and believe you're a good match for their vacancies. However, this is not guaranteed. Many employers use job fairs to meet candidates, collect CVs, and identify talent before arranging interviews at a later date. To give yourself the best chance, dress professionally, arrive early, and make a great first impression.
