Community Integrated Care

About Us

Community Integrated Care is one of the largest and most successful social care charities in UK. We are proud to have been named the Charity Times 2019/20 ‘Charity of the Year’.

As a Support Worker with Community Integrated Care you will experience an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role. Our Support Workers empower the people with support needs to live the lives they want to lead. We work in a person centred way to ensure everyone has the best support possible, where possible we make sure our Support Workers have something in common with the people we support whether that be horse-riding, cinema trips or enjoying a good book.

We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated team players with a can-do approach who, as a Support Worker, will be committed to support people to have a great life through innovative person centred support.

We have had some amazing achievements this year with the people we support and support workers working together:

- We encouraged one of the people we support to reach his aspirational outcome, which was able to build up his confidence to go swimming again, which is now part of his routine which he loves!

- We supported an individual who wanted to lose weight before his sister’s wedding, with the support of the team the individuals lost a staggering 3 stone and had a great time at the wedding!

- We’ve been able to help individuals plan and go on some fabulous trips including going on holiday for the first time – individuals have been to America, Marrakech, Skegness & Milan

- One individual living in Nottingham plays for the Leeds Rhino’s as part of the Learning Disability Super League, this achievement was recognised by the Great British Care Awards and the award sits pride of place on the mantelpiece!
