About UsHFT care about people and strive for the best possible outcomes for each individual we support. We believe people with a learning disability can have more fulfilled lives and it is the role of everyone within HFT to make that happen. We provide inclusive services, which are individually tailored to each person’s needs and wishes, promoting positive valued lifestyles.
What it’s like to work for us?We take great pride in being a ‘can do’ organisation and through Person Centred Planning (PCP) and Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) we ensure that people have the life opportunities they need and want.
We do this by:
• Making sure that you support people to be as involved as possible in every moment of their lives.
• Offering people opportunities to be involved as often as possible, in the way that best suits them, e.g. as little or as much as they like.
• Offering ‘just enough’ support to ensure people succeed.
• Ensuring that people you support make as many choices as possible, so they remain in control.
As we provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, including weekends, sleep-in’s and Bank Holidays. You will also be required to accompany people we support on holidays, attend training courses and other activities.
