Job Fairs Ltd – Changing with the times

The Coronavirus Pandemic has impacted all our lives in a multitude of ways.

 

The Job market, work-life, home-life, exercise, meetings, sporting events, are just some of the key aspects altered in these unprecedented times.

 

Unthinkable situations, like not being able to see your close family and friends, have also been enforced upon us in the 10 months since Coronavirus officially gripped our society.

 

Even us at Job Fairs Ltd have had to adapt to our new environment since the pandemic first surfaced. Forward thinking ideas, that have long been touted even before Covid-19, have been brought forward into our working way of life.

 

Since March 2020, just some of the changes we have made include:

 

  • Switching our staff to working from home/remotely.
  • No longer working out of an office.
  • Our telephone system is now in the “cloud” and as such, can be brought with us wherever we go.
  • Team meetings now take place in public spaces, Starbucks is a good example.
  • New signage/equipment developed to encourage social distancing.

 

 

Our scope for change is always at the forefront of our minds, so, more revolutionary steps are likely to be made in the coming months as we adjust to the “new normal”.

 

It is clear to see that Jobs Fair Ltd, just like much of the nation, is changing with the times…and will continue to do so, long after COVID-19 has been and gone.
