At Northern, we play a vital role across the North by providing a reliable and friendly train service that helps hundreds of thousands of people to go do their thing. That's over 2,000 services every day, travelling to over 500 destinations.

Our vision is about more than just train travel. We strive to make a positive impact for the North for all we do and for all we serve, and everyone at Northern has a part to play.

Put simply, we want to set a new standard for customer experiences. We’ve introduced an entire fleet of state-of-the-art trains that include free Wi-Fi, power sockets at every seat and digital screens. We’re building easier and quicker ways to buy tickets - on your phone or tablet, or in person. And we’re more committed than ever to making customer journeys as safe and comfortable as possible.
