Prama Care

About Us

The Prama Foundation is a Charity that supports older people and people living with aquired brain injury to live with dignity at home. PramaCare, awarded ‘Outstanding’ for care by the CQC has over 200 dedicated Care Support workers working around Dorset, delivering help with household chores, nail cutting services and personal care. Because we are a charity, all proceeds from PramaCare go to support community clubs and activities for older people across Dorset.

What it’s like to work for us?

We believe people who work in care should be looked after, supported and rewarded for the difference they make to people’s lives, day after day. PramaCare has been rated by the CQC as having an outstanding level of care which is something we are all proud of! Our incredible team of Care Support Workers who go out and ensure that older people can stay in their own home and maintain their independence for as long as possible and because we are a charity, all proceeds from PramaCare go to support community clubs and activities for older people across Dorset.

The type of jobs we recruit for?

A typical day in the life of a Care Support Worker:

Work available mornings, days, evenings and weekends. Whenever suits you. Our busiest periods, meaning there is more work available, tend to be mornings 7/8am to 9/10am, evenings 5/6pm to 9/10pm, all 7 days of the week.

Some typical duties might include:

Wash, bath and toilet assistance
Prepare meals
Clean and tidy
Simply sit and chat
