About Us

At Together Stronger Care, we are passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space for young people aged 8 - 18 years. We currently have 2 homes and can accommodate up to 6 young people at a time.

Together stronger provides a positive environment for young people who have suffered some sort of trauma in their early years, such as sexual, physical, or emotional abuse or neglect. The Home environments strive to create a secure base, from which young people may experience stable and positive relationships and progress in their social and emotional development.

Our aim is to help the young people in our care by supporting them to deal with the adversities they have experienced in their young lives. The aim is to reduce and prevent the cycles of abuse and broken relationships, by establishing positive and trusted relationships. At the core of our care is the aim to enable young people to form positive relationships and build a positive sense of self and self-identity. Developing motivation and positive engagement in education and training leads to purposeful aspirations and significant achievements.

When young people and young people come to live with us, they have invariably experienced multiple adversities and have complex life experiences in both their family and other attachment relationships, as well as in their experiences in education. Our Home environments provides a secure base for young people whose social/emotional development has been compromised and where they may also present a range of behavioural problems and/or mental health/neurodevelopment problems.

The location of our Homes are all within in the Swansea area and have easily accessible activities, hobbies, and interests within the local community and this will be our corner stone for being able to provide enjoyment and development for young people.
